ALPS WINE

ALPS WINE is a small winery stands on Fuefuki City, the south-west end of the Kofu basin, Yamanashi prefecture since 1962. Our town is next to Katsunuma, popular to make grapes and wines. We make wines and juice for Japanese customers.
The name of our company, ALPS WINE, came from the scenery of our company; the mountain range of “Japan Alps” can be seen over the Kofu basin. Our slogan is ''Small Company, High Quality''. We are small winery, but we try to make better quality of wines for reasonable price. This is our way.

History

1962 Company founded by purchasing a winemaking license from co-operative local winemaking group
1994 Begin to make some kind of wines without adding sulfurous acid
2004 Start making our company’s own grape field with European wine grapes, and start making new wine series called “AW Platinum Collection” to explore the potential of wines of us.
